Reviews commonly mention clear communication, integrity, and a smooth process despite supply or schedule challenges. Several homeowners highlight strong workmanship and the team’s willingness to handle unique or atypical project needs. There is at least one review noting delays and follow-through concerns on post-closing items for a spec purchase, while others describe responsive issue resolution during longer projects. Overall sentiment trends positive with praise for coordination and value.
From my experience, I would not recommend buying a home built by Birch if you were not part of the process from the beginning. We bought a home that was already built in April 2023, noticed problems before closing that were noted, and were told they would be fixed. After back and forth with the owners for almost 2 years, they fixed most of the major issues, but kick the can down the road for everything else. It seems that they don’t care about the quality of work their sub-contractors provide and it ultimately falls on the customer. For what we paid they could have done better.
If you can dream it, Birch can build it. I can't thank the Birch team enough for building a home that is so uniquely me. They also took on my atypical project that was largely stemmed around a rather large finished garage space. It was not a build that is typical for their portfolio, but they knocked it out of the park.I would really like to highlight the honesty and integrity of the Birch team. With a project this big, over a long duration, with many sub contractors, there are bound to be a few hiccups along the way. Birch addressed everything that I had brought up, and ultimately met all of my expectations. You can seriously feel how passionately the Birch team wants you, as the home owner, to be completely satisfied in your new home.Any customization that I brought into the build they had the mentality of "Yup, we can do that!". I was kind of shocked as to how willing they were to make customizations like that, but after all they are a Custom Home Builder. There may have been some slight delays generated by me making those changes, but it wasn't an issue for them to do it. Whether it was changing window or door placements during framing, adding heating and A/C to the garage, a built in automatic dog door, and a dog feeding station built into the kitchen island with a pot filler for water - they made it happen.I could go on and on about how pleased I am, but I really can't thank Birch enough. I am so happy in my new home with my dogs. They know how much that all meant to me during a very challenging year for me. I appreciate the relationship we fostered during this project, and I would not hesitate to have them build another home for me or my family/friends.
These guys by all accounts provide quality and aim to stand behind their work and satisfy their clients. They are a top rated client of mine and I look forward to continuing that relationship going forward! As their reputation goes, so goes mine on shared projects, and I can rest well knowing they are operating at their best.
Birch Home Builders built our forever home, on the lake, during Covid-19, when supplies were limited and delayed, costs for building materials were at an all time high and the uncertainty and fear of building was a monster of a challenge. However, Andy and Avery and their team made this challenge exciting and actually fairly easy. Their prices were competitive and fair, the subcontractors were timely and efficient and the overall process moved along smoothly. They kept us informed throughout the entire build, they searched for alternatives when delays seemed inevitable, they were transparent and honest from start to finish. I would recommend these guys over and over again! The entire team is second to none! If you’re thinking about building, reach out to Birch Home Builders! You’ll be glad you did!

If you are looking for someone to build your dream home I could not recommend Birch Home Builders enough!
