We interview 3 different builders a ultimately we went with Madison after meeting with Billy we knew which builder we wanted to go with. Billy was awesome. He did not pressure us and was very informative. Once the building started we had Micheal as our supper. He also we awesome and informative. The whole team was awesome. From the beginning to the end the process was so easy. The team (Billy, Greg, Angie and Angelina) were AMAZING to work with. They never hesitated to take my calls, answer questions, make changes that I would come up with. I was also very happy that they didn’t flinch at some pretty big changes that I wanted to make to the floor plan. I would recommend Madison to anyone.
I would give them 10 stars if I could! We just closed on our home with Madison last Friday after working with them since January of this year. We met with Billy in the Columbia office, he took the time to explain all of our options and the process on how Madison handles their builds. We were never rushed or pushed one way or another to make decisions. When we got to the point that we needed to start making selections for the interior and exterior of our home, we had plenty of options to chose from (a blessing and a curse!) and Billy was able to guide us an answer any questions we had. We met in office to make selections so we were able to see everything in person, which I found very helpful. Once construction started we were consistently updated by Angela, the construction coordinator, which was fantastic. We always knew where we were at during our build and knew what they would be working on. Michael, our building superintendent, was always very prompt to answer any questions or concerns we had, and made an effort to addressed anything that needed to be fixed in an extremely timely manner, especially as our closing date was approaching. Our closing was a breeze and Angelina was a delight to work with. We could not be more pleased with how our home turned out, and we are looking forward to getting moved in soon! We had a bad experience with a different builder, one we had worked with for over a year, we spent thousands of dollars on plans, and in the end, they couldn't get the appraisal we needed. We were devastated that our dream to build was falling apart. We began searching for other builders and came across a floor plan with Madison that was similar to the one we were hoping to build. We met with Billy Horton 3 days after firing the first builder. From the very first moment, we knew we were supposed to build with Madison. Every single step was easy and fluid. Billy was a great salesman, Michael was an amazing construction supervisor, and every person we met was super nice, helpful, and informative. In less than 8 months, we went from feeling like our dream was never going to happen to moving into our forever home! We built a Cumberland with the farmhouse elevation. We converted the living room to a 4th bedroom and the dining room to an office. We have a gigantic pantry, unfinished bonus room above the garage, and a beautiful screened in 12X20 deck on the back overlooking our 9-acre pine forest. Billy, Michael, Angie, Angelina, and the entire team at Madison helped make our dream come true, and we couldn't be happier. From the foundation to the final touches, we watched the entire build process step by step. The workmanship and quality of every material and skill is top notch. We have recommended Madison to multiple people and will continue to send people to Billy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
