Follow up review......
Let me start by saying that Schumacher homes Greensboro is a rare gem with high standards of excellence and it's not fake it's throughout the office. Most companies do not maintain the same level of hands on care after the sale. Schumacher Greensboro fixed everything on our punch list including replacing 2 large windows. My wife and I would like to thank Crystal B. for her patience and care helping us coordinate the repairs. And Trevor our window guy for his help and patience also. We thought our builder Todd H. was great and our designer Donzell W. but the whole office is great! If you're looking for a good home and service after the sale go to Schumacher Greensboro there is none better. Oh and the man they call Rock (manager) is pretty cool also.

loosing our home due to fire in November 2022, we decided to rebuild with Schumacher Homes, Greensboro office. We met with Donzel in late December 2022. He was instrumental in assisting with the design of our new home, the Heartland model, which was a new design. Christine, Melissa, Roc, and Crystal were great to work with. Todd, our personal builder and godsend, was professional, honest, timely and on top of everything with the build of our home, from walking the land in February to receiving the keys, in September 2023. We absolutely love our home! The craftsmanship and workmanship is top notch! Thank you Schumacher for making lemonade out of our lemons. The Greensboro office is AWESOME!

We love our home and location, but unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend building with Schumacher Homes. The process took much longer than expected, and when it came time to close, they rushed us through despite ongoing issues. During construction, we witnessed framers drinking on the job and had subcontractors—like the drywall crew—asking us where certain materials should go. There were missing elements, uneven finishes, and sloppy work overall.

Even after closing, the quality of the follow-up work was poor and felt like a band-aid rather than a proper fix. The craftsmanship throughout the home has been disappointing. Our builder was Todd, and while that experience left a lot to be desired, Trevor was helpful and did his best to address the problems that came up.

If we could do it all over again, we’d go with a smaller, local builder who takes more pride in their work.

I wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars; the team at Schumacher Homes of Greensboro/Winston NC MORE than earned every single star! We did contact a number of builders in the area, and all fell VERY short from the bar set by the Schumacher group. From the responsiveness of Kevin Price at the beginning stages (we were SO impressed with his thoroughness, his compassion and his enthusiasm - he blew the competition out of the water!), the amazing hands-on service (coupled with such wonderful enthusiasm and kindness, you couldn't help but feel relaxed and taken care of in her capable hands!) of Melissa Culbertson and the fabulous design expertise of Christine Larson, our home - built to a quality and beauty that well exceeded our expectations - became not only our dream home, but our reality....in only 4.5 months! This could not have been done without the amazing craftmenship, knowledge, skill and expertise of David Shuler. Without David, our dream would not have come to fruition. He walked us through the process from day one. He believes in open communication, transparancy and honesty, and it showed in absolutely everything he did on the job site. His knowledge and understanding of each aspect of the building process was visible in every part of the project, and it shows in every single area of our new home. If you are blessed enough to work with this amazing team at Schumacher Homes, I assure you that you will be MORE than satisfied with the end result. Five Stars PLUS!

We built our first home with Schumacher and the entire process took a little less than a year. From paperwork, choosing light fixtures, clearing our plot of land, to framing. Great customer service. Everyone in the office is friendly, helpful, and answered every question we had. Chris C. overlooked the building process. We’re thankful we got to work with him. He is really great with communicating with us and also taught us a few things.
There were a few hiccups and bumps on the road, but it wasn’t anything that couldn’t be dealt with. Overall, it was a good experience and we would recommend anyone to build with Schumacher of Greensboro!

Schumacher Homes of Greensboro was amazing to work with. From the first time coming in and meeting with Kevin, he was great. Then meeting and working with Christine, Melissa, Crystal, Matt, Rock and then our builder David was awesome. From start to finish we always knew what was going on in the process with everything. David was so personable and he did an awesome job and grateful for him and all the trade people were great to work with as well. David always kept us up to date on everything and made us feel as ease and comfortable. Even when we were told our floors we picked out were discontinued , we were bummed, but the ones we had to go back to the design center and pick out for the house and the bathroom we love even better than the original ones. So that was a huge plus! Everyone was so friendly and easy to work with. We're so happy to have chosen Schumacher to build our forever home. We couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend this company to anyone that's looking to build a custom built house. THANK YOU to everyone.
