I purchased a new townhome in Longmont. I found the sales person, Naomi, to be very professional and helpful. Good communication and always responded to my questions quickly. Prior to the purchase Abby walked through the townhome with me to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. She was very knowledgeable about home maintenance and very professional. I have been in my home for a few months now and I am happy that I purchased here.

It was pleasure working with Naomi with dream finders in Longmont Colorado we started to look for a new home all over again we brought a condo with landmark homes in Longmont co last November and we had a horrible experience with them not fixing issues due to bad insulation so we came across dream finders and Omg a huge turn around we came across the sale agent name Naomi Rutkey who showed us different floor plans of townhomes and answered all of our questions and concerns we were hesitant this time around because we had a bad experience with landmark homes. But we ended up finding a perfect townhome that suited our family and our needs and Naomi made this whole process smooth and stress-free and the plus part was we were able to come back numerous times and look into the townhome under construction and to see our forever home be built from the ground up. It was such a wonderful experience and able to come and stop by and look at the townhome. We really appreciate Naomi a lot especially her sending us pictures and keeping us updated on what’s happening with the townhome and we wanna also thank Abby when we were doing our final walk-through in our pre-walk-through how simple and easy it was and she answered all of her questions and concerns. We really appreciated Abby and Naomi walking us through our forever home and our final walk-through they address all of our concerns and questions and they really took the time to go through everything through the pre-walk-through and final walk-through of the townhome. It felt so much better this time around we didn’t felt rushed. We were able to take our time and look throughout the townhomes through our walk-throughs with Abby and Naomi because with landmark homes in Longmont when we went for our final walk-through in a pre-walk-through. It felt like they were just rushing us. and they were kind of hesitant to answer of all of our questions at landmark homes. and after closing day with dream finders.Naomi told us to call her if we have any questions or concerns it’s been a month since we moved in and our little family loves it here such a great community,
we’re so thrilled we stumbled across dream finders, in Longmont, Colorado I highly recommend moving here if anybody is looking for their forever home such a great community and great people to help you find your forever home at dream finders Longmont , Colorado

It was an absolute pleasure working with Dream Finder Homes on behalf of my clients. As a local Realtor with $17–$20+ million in annual sales, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many builders over the years—but this was my first experience with Dream Finder Homes, and it truly exceeded my expectations as what I am looking for in an business partnership.

From start to finish, the process was seamless and incredibly well-managed. We had the pleasure of working with Naomi on the sales side and Abby as our Superintendent—both of whom were outstanding. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exactly what was promised made all the difference. They were attentive to every detail and ensured my clients felt supported every step of the way.

I’m sincerely grateful for the exceptional service and look forward to working with this incredible team again soon. I will absolutely be bringing more buyers your way!

This was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life. Building a home should be exciting—it turned into seven months of stress, disappointment, & frustration. We ultimately terminated our contract with Dream Finders—who we've come to call Dream Crushers—due to poor craftsmanship, misleading communication, & a total lack of accountability.

From the very beginning, it felt like the goal was to build fast & sell—not to build well. Everything was rushed, & quality went out the window. The framing was so poorly done that my father, a seasoned carpenter, called it the worst he’d ever seen. Measurements looked like someone tried to convert from metric & guessed. Boards were randomly missing or added, stud spacing varied from room to room for no clear reason, & there were broken boards that should’ve been replaced—just a lot of head-scratching chaos.

When we raised concerns with construction manager Abby, her response was: “I don’t know, you’ll have to ask the city.” So we did—& the city forced corrections. Dream Crushers were then upset with us for doing exactly what Abby told us to do, simply because she didn’t have the answers.

The brickwork was a disaster. We selected a modern charcoal clean brick with sharp edges. What we got was brick laid from the top down—a method no reputable mason would use. There were visible mortar gaps, bricks out of alignment, & piers out of level. Instead of redoing it, they tried to fix it four times, just layering more mortar over existing issues. It looked so bad they ended up whitewashing the brick, completely changing the look. Each patch was a different color until they finally matched it to a universal color—but the structural problems remained. Multiple masonry professionals advised a full teardown, but the builder ignored it. It only needed to look okay from a distance, leaving us with no confidence in the structural integrity or aesthetic quality of the home.

Equally troubling was the condition of our HVAC systems. Despite being brand new, our inspector noted both furnaces were filled with drywall dust, which could void the manufacturer’s warranty & significantly reduce the life of the units. The builder refused to clean or certify the systems, & we were left with serious concerns about safety, efficiency, & long-term reliability.

Throughout the process, the overall experience was exhausting & filled with unnecessary stress, much of it stemming from poor communication & mismanagement—particularly from our point of contact, Tami. While she often claimed to be advocating for us, her actions consistently added confusion & contradiction. She made the entire process feel like we were constantly pushing uphill.

Worse, we learned the hard way that everything needed to be in writing. We had verbally agreed with her—in person—to switch our fireplace design before framing began. She confirmed it & said the order was placed. When it wasn’t reflected in the paperwork, she denied remembering the conversation & told us it was too late to change. On top of that, we were misquoted on our exterior paint color, only to find a $600 overcharge quietly added. She offered to “split the difference,” but once again, it was simply another example of sloppy handling & lack of accountability.

I could go on. There were so many more moments like these. But the result is the same: shoddy work, carelessness, & no accountability. Don’t expect to talk with upper management—you won’t. They hide behind sales reps & construction managers who don’t have the authority to make real decisions & instead give you scripted excuses.

If you're considering building with this company, proceed with caution. Make sure you have a knowledgeable, proactive agent—ours was incredible & helped us through an otherwise frustrating process. But unless you're prepared to document everything, follow up constantly, & advocate for yourself just to get what you paid for, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. If I could do it over, I wouldn’t. No home is worth your peace of mind.

As a painter for over 20 yrs these builders painters are a joke… cost a customer $4k for me to re-paint everything & clean it up as a brand new house should look. That’s just not right & not fair for a brand new house but she couldn’t look at that everyday so buyer beware that the interior paint job will require a ton of touch-ups or repainting! Sloppy work, paint on windows, drips on doors, cracks not caulked, etc etc. There was also a piece of door casing that had obviously broken in half & they just installed it as-is, in the master bathroom, didn’t even hide it inside a closet, what a joke … any quality control Dream Builders ?!
