I had called in the morning reporting a serious furnace issue, that same afternoon the problem was resolved, despite the orange snow squall conditions in our area. So have being a customer of there's for 10 plus years. Then my furnace was not working they came in gave me a quote under 10k. Then the next day they send a quote for a mark up of over 15k. I decide to go with a better quote from Toronto for 6.5k. So for its being a year and I have called 4 times for Them to do some service because they happen to know a few people that works for enbridge and they have dropped me because I decided note to have them replaced my furnace for the marked up cost. They wanted... just a bad experience
After Enbridge turned my 80 year old mothers gas off leaving her with no heat, I called Barrie Heating & Gas. Peter was quickly dispatched and he was awesome, such a nice guy, professional and did an excellent job finding the issue and helping us get our gas system restored and up to code. He even came back after hours on his own time to replace the furnace valve at 9pm so mom had heat that night instead of leaving her in the cold. Who does that? Peter does, that's who. That would make a good T-Shirt.
Absolutely Great service!! I would recommend Barrie Heating & Air Conditioning to everyone.Long story short. My fairly new ( 2017) hot water tank decided to go down right before the Thanksgiving long weekend. My own company ( The company that installed the water tank along with a furnace. " Prestige Heating & cooling" ) denying any service to me. All she said was " I don't have anyone for you, they are all busy on emergency calls. You need to call around. " And so I did. Called Barrie Heating & Air Conditioning and left them a message. And within 30mins, Cheryl called me back and sent a technician ( also awesome ) over @ my place within 20 mins. And they inspected the tank , and also be notice there's a bit of gas smells. They shut off the tank and the gas line. And returned right after the long weekend to replace the tank. Awesome work they did. Todd and his Technician were awesome that they literally left no mess behind. And were extremely careful and transfering the old tank out from my finished basement to upstairs!Just awesome team from the office (Cheryl) to the technician (Todd) on the field. I'm totally appreciate their work!
Recently moved into a new build during the crazy heatwave and it was so incredibly hot and uncomfortable. Barrie Heating managed to fit my install within a reasonable time frame considering the large flood of people needing service and installs. Was extremely pleased with the install and end result blowing ice cold air. Super clean and professional install so I couldn't be happier with Todd and his crew. Would recommend them to anyone.
