Recent reviews frequently mention on-time arrivals, friendly technicians, and clear explanations of work performed. Several customers highlight quick turnaround from quote to installation. Some negative feedback cites concerns about billing clarity and how labour is charged on warranty-related visits. Overall sentiment trends positive, with praise for responsiveness and workmanship.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company regarding billing transparency and warranty service.
My furnace failed less than three years after installation. I was told the failed part was under warranty, which it was. On the first visit, the technician confirmed the part needed replacing and ordered it. The furnace was not repaired during that visit which was less than 30mins, yet I was billed a full one-hour labour charge. The invoice was titled “Furnace Repair,” even though the furnace was not repaired and the invoice itself stated that installation labour would be billed later.
When the warranty part arrived a few days later, the return visit took approximately seven minutes to install the part and restore heat. Despite this being the same unresolved warranty issue, I was again charged a full one-hour minimum labour fee.
At no point before receiving the invoices was I informed that each short visit related to the same warranty repair would be billed as a separate one-hour minimum. I was also told that a “warranty fee” was embedded in the charges, which I find troubling given that warranty coverage should not involve hidden or repeat fees.
I asked to speak with a manager about these concerns and never received a call back. When I requested that the remaining billed time on the second visit be used to service the furnace, that request was refused.
This experience left me with serious concerns about billing practices and transparency. Based on my experience, I would urge others to ask very specific questions about minimum charges and warranty-related fees before authorizing service.

Quoted price was honoured, tech was friendly, and he was on time. I also like the fact the tech went above and beyond by being thorough, and explained everything in depth.

The service that John Mulder Heating & AC provided us was fantastic. From coming out quickly to give us a quote to having the installation team at our home incredibly quickly. We went from a frozen home to a toasty warm home in no time. The price was also awesome. This team is the best!
Thank you.

These guys went way over and above to fix our furnace! John was very professional and quite skilled as he diagnosed our problem quickly and effectively and we are thrilled to have heat again. Char and Cassandra took excellent care of us as well, very cheerful and accommodating. A+, 5 star, would recommend.

My first contact with the company was good and front end staff were friendly. Once the work was completed I was surprised that the bill was higher than expected. It turns out the verbal quote received was for the part only. During the quote call they told me labour would be an hour. At this point they know the part value, they know the labour involved but don't tell me what the expected total invoice would be? Instead they give me a number for the part only.

I reached out to question the invoice and staff promised to take it up with management. Sadly I've had no response from them.

To make matters worse for the company, I have a quote for a full furnace / AC replacement from them under consideration. Clearly they do not want this additional business worth significantly more.
