I have always had a good experience with Neels. When I had an air-conditioner installed about eight years ago, I had three companies come out to give me quotes. Two out of three said that I'd need to replace the furnace first because the venting system would not accommodate an air-conditioner. Neels was the ONLY company who told me they could install an air-conditioner without having to change the furnace. Which they did. After that experience, I can't see myself going anywhere else.
Great service, called in the morning and had appt for the next morning but a service person arrived same day just after noon. Had to leave to get a part but still returned same day and repaired. It was a major part and quite costly, our only complaint would be that we weren't given a quote, and it was in excess of $700. As we had to have it replaced anyway, we wouldn't have done anything different. Would definitely use again. Just might be a bigger deal for some.
Neels Heating did the HVAC install in our new home, and we’re so glad we went with them. The team was friendly, efficient, and really seemed to care about doing things right. They walked us through everything, answered all our questions, and made the whole process stress-free. Our system works amazing, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!
System originally installed by Neels in 2022 and not serviced since. I called and the person was quite helpful on the phone. The tech arrived in two days and adjusted the furnace fan and heat pump. The tech also reviewed all of the vents around the house as I was encountering heating problems in the basement and upstairs rooms. He made valuable suggestions and the temperature is much better controlled. The tech also found a leak in the heat pump and suggested follow up in the spring.
I usually don't like to leave negative reviews, but I don't want others to run into problems with this company like I did. Neels heating installed my hot water system in my house in 2017 and since then I've had them come back to try and diagnose the issue with it. After seeking other specialists in the field because they couldn't find the issue, I was informed by two other professionals that the venting was installed incorrectly which destroyed my unit resulting in it needing to be replaced. Neels came back and fixed the venting "free of charge" but didn't take responsibility for my broken hot water on demand unit. I find it quite strange why they would come back to fix their mistake on the venting free of charge but didn't want to take responsability for it ruining my system. If they believe they didn't do anything wrong why would they come back and fix one thing for free but not both? Don't waste your time or money with this company.Neels heating continues to disregard my concerns and says they "corrected the venting at no charge as a goodwill gesture." They also continue to claim that the unit itself was well beyond warranty timelines, and there was no clear evidence that the equipment failure was a direct result of installation from six years prior.For the record, according to Bosch manufacturing if the unit was not installed correctly initially the warranty is void right away. So given that information the system was out of warranty the day Neels heating installed it because it was done incorrectly. I had two other professionals who came and diagnosed the install thatNeels heating did originally and they both had the same findings that it was installed wrong and that was the direct cause for the failure of the unit.If Neels heating believes they didn't do anything wrong why would they come back and fix one thing for free but not both?
