When I reached out to Shawn I had already spoken with a few HVAC companies and even received a couple quotes. When I called Shawn he was so REAL. Focused the conversation on the HVAC system and problem solved with me. He was the FIRST one to suggest cleaning coils (I purchased a home from a very heavy indoor cigarette smoker). Ultimately we hired him to clean the coils and replace all the ducts. It was by far the BEST price and I has confident that he was doing the job well and not taking advantage of the fact that I am not knowledgable in HVAC. Highly suggest him for all HVAC needs.
Recently had residential heat pump and A/C installedExcellent job, great work crew, all questions and concerns answered, pricing fair. Would recommend
We hired Shawn Lambert HVAC in early 2021 after moving into our new home and discovering that the furnace wasn’t working. We contacted the company in December 2020 and also discussed installing a new AC unit. We met with the owner, Shawn Lambert, who assured us that our existing furnace was a good, efficient unit. He suggested replacing some parts and relocating the furnace to our attic to reduce noise and free up hallway closet space. It sounded like a smart solution, so we moved forward with it.Work began on January 22, 2021, and was completed by early February. While the furnace was moved to the attic and parts were replaced, it only stayed on for a few minutes before shutting off. We contacted the company multiple times—February 8, February 16, and again on February 22. The same crew came out each time. On March 2, they determined the furnace needed a duct reroute and a valve replacement. To do this, they had to cut a hole in our living room ceiling, which came as a surprise. On March 6, after further troubleshooting, they contacted the owner again, who recommended replacing the entire furnace. On March 10, they installed a new furnace, which has worked fine since then. However, we’ve encountered several issues since the install. To place the new unit in the attic, they laid down plywood—which appears to have been untreated. Roughly a year and a half later, in October 2022, we had to fumigate the entire house due to a termite infestation. Multiple pest control companies pointed to the attic plywood as the likely cause. We also had a new AC unit installed during the same job. We specifically told them not to use our existing 30-amp breaker, as we planned to install an EV charger later in the year. Despite this, they tapped into that exact breaker. We had to bring in a separate electrician to install a new breaker for the EV.The overall installation quality was extremely sloppy. Many loose screws and plastic wrappers were left scattered on top of the plywood, and we even found 2x4 wood pieces and a measuring tape left behind in the attic. The mess made it clear there was little attention to cleanup or quality control. While the furnace is working now, the repeated callbacks, electrical oversight, unexpected ceiling damage, termite-related consequences from untreated materials, and careless installation practices make it very difficult to recommend this company. We expected better craftsmanship and professionalism for such a major project.06/08/2025 edit:Since the owner didn’t take the time to look us up in his system using the detailed dates, timeline, and description of work provided in this review, here are screenshots of our conversation with him that prove otherwise. We were absolutely clients of this business, and it’s disappointing, but not surprising, that instead of addressing the concerns raised, the owner is choosing to deny any record of our experience, especially given how he responds to other 1-star reviews.
Was having some issues with our A/C units not working properly and effectively cooling down our space. Called Shawn out and he was able to figure out the probably within minutes and get it fixed and working properly. Will be using Shawn in the future for whatever HVAC needs I have.
I live in Vegas, but my mom lives in Orange County and recently needed some HVAC work done. She doesn't have a Yelp or Google account, so she asked me to post a review on her behalf because she was absolutely blown away by the service provided by Shawn Lambert HVAC.Shawn and his team are simply amazing at what they do. From the moment they arrived, their level of professionalism and knowledge was evident. They quickly diagnosed the issues, explained the necessary repairs in a way that my mom could easily understand, and got to work immediately. The quality of work was top-notch, and the pricing was very fair. My mom is extremely happy with the overall experience, and so am I. Shawn Lambert HVAC is definitely the go-to service for all HVAC needs in Orange County. There's a reason they're number one, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.We will definitely be recommending Shawn Lambert HVAC to all of our friends and family. Thank you, Shawn and team, for taking such great care of my mom and providing outstanding service!
