Reviews frequently mention courteous technicians, clear explanations, and tidy workmanship on installs and repairs. Some customers highlight helpful follow-up and thermostat setup support. There are also reports of delayed callbacks and dissatisfaction with certain heat pump service experiences. Overall ratings trend positive, but communication speed appears to vary case by case.

As I write this, it’s been five days since I reached out for help — from a company I’ve trusted and used since 2012. I was promised a call back from a service manager within 1–2 days. I did receive a call from a manager named Steven (or Stephen) yesterday, who asked me to follow up today (Friday) during business hours. I’ve now reached out three times and have been assured each time that someone would call me back. Still no return call — and as of now, we’re without heat. Thankfully, it’s not yet the middle of winter.

This isn’t the first issue. Last year, our then two-year-old furnace failed, leaving us without heat just before Christmas. After several service calls and reassurances, the unit was tagged as unsafe and we were told we’d need a new furnace. A second opinion from an HVAC professional revealed that assessment was completely wrong — the furnace had been incorrectly tagged, likely an over-zealous technician seeking an unnecessary sale/commission. Limcan was extremely apologetic for the improper and unnecessary position we were put in.

At that time, a supervisor named Leeann stepped in and was excellent — she helped monitor the issue, fixed a communication breakdown surrounding our maintenance plan and restored my faith in the company. Unfortunately, I’ve since learned she’s no longer with them, and the same level of accountability seems to have disappeared.

It feels like this company has grown too large and lost the customer care and integrity that once set them apart. After 12 years of loyalty, it’s disappointing to see how difficult it’s become to get a simple follow-up or basic service. I’m posting this in hopes that management will step in, send a senior technician to properly diagnose and fix the issue once and for all, and assist in filing a warranty claim with the manufacturer if it turns out the furnace is truly a lemon. That’s the kind of support and professionalism long-time customers deserve. Be the company you once were, Limcan Certified!

Would give zero stars if I could.
Terrible, if you have a heat pump or you are a senior.
They totally ripped my parents off and left them out to dry.
It took 2 months, several visits, even one guy saying they don't work on heat pumps. Charged them almost $1500, and it still doesn’t work. When my parents called them they were told to call another company.
Worst service ever!
Will warn everyone to stay away.

Christopher Alphonso from Limcan was at my place to fix a basement leakage from our A/C. He was extremely helpful, clear about what needed to be done and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable with the fix. This was an issue that resurfaced after a couple technicians had visited our place earlier so I appreciate Christopher and Limcan for making sure we were not charged again to fix the problem. Great customer service but beyond that Christopher knows his job very well and I also enjoyed getting to know him a bit more during our conversations. Wish him and Limcan the very best and thank you again for your prompt service. Available 24x7 with great service, highly recommend Limcan to everyone

We called Limcan to install our new heat pump and furnace. They sent Mike and his crew, and they got the job done! Clean and polite, and they cleaned up everything and showed us how it all works. Very satisfied!

Technician Davage was efficient and professional. I appreciated the help setting up the WiFi thermostat and advice about buying my furnace filters. Have used this company for years and appreciate professional service. Great job!
