Called D.Rohde to unclog a trunk line that we have had cleared out several times since we bought the house 13 years ago. The technician’s name was John, and he uncovered why we were continuously having this issue. He needed to redo some piping in the walls that was “ creative” but not too functional. He explained everything thoroughly and informed me on some other issues we were having. He was quite friendly, knowledgeable and was good with pets. It was a good experience and I would recommend and use their services again.

They were fast and easy to work with; pricing was reasonable for such a big job and I was able to use their financing option with no interest for six months. The crew who did the installation was professional, pleasant, left the basement clean and were even nice to my curious cat who kept going down to watch them working.

Jordan was not only knowledgeable about each of the projects/situations, but he went out of his way to explain everything so that I could understand them completely, and therefore make informed decisions based on an expert opinion. 30 Days at our new house has been wonderful but comes with challenges. Last night our sink started to back up in the utility room which had a connection for our washer. We have yet to purchase it luckily. Sunday morning did my research and Mr Rooter I guess affiliated with D Rhode home services. They had a technician out to me within the hour. Our technician Alvin first ask the necessary questions and then calculated what could be the cause. Gave me some insight on what’s really going on behind these walls and pipes. Once he decided what action to take it was up and down from there. Up to the kitchen sink and down to the sewer line. After some back and forth within the pipes we found some of the issues that was causing the problem. Alvin also gave some advice to prevent future buildup in our system. Thank you Alvin for be professional and honest with us about this matter.

I called them on a Wednesdayy they came out on a Friday, they pumped enough life in my two 22 year old furnaces to keep them running long enough til they returned on that Monday with the brand new replacements. Hooked up my new thermostats and now I'm running things remotely and a lot more efficiently! Will be using them for my business and home from now on! It's important to have quick access to quality hvac service esp for a good price such as theirs!!

Kevin arrived at 10am today and confirmed the passing of my tankless water heater. (loved it)
We discussed what needed to be done and how to save money with the "To The Rescue Plan".
Also, some options to deal with the hard water in Poughkeepsie.
BTW... Kevin knows his HVAC stuff.
He checked if new heater was in stock and could he do now.
It was and he could and our new tankless water heater was spreading its warmth after 2pm.
Old heater was removed and work area cleaned and all good.
24 hours ago we had no hot water and now we are showered. I would say that's excellent response and service.

D. Rohde did an excellent job installing our Navien on demand unit (Hot water heater/boiler unit). They were quick to come out to assess and provide estimates for multiple projects. Our Navien unit was installed in one day - our old units were removed and all paperwork for inspections and rebates were filled out by them. There was one issue after installation, we did not lose heat, but they came back out and were able to fix everything on site without a fee. We haven’t had to touch the thermostat since installation in November! The workmanship is beautiful and have been able to communicate with the company for follow up inspections, rebate, etc. via text, always get a response! Thank you Colton, Liram and Jennifer - and especially to the two install gentlemen, I forgot your names! Highly recommend!
