Staff was friendly in person, good prices on basic pool chemicals.
I hired Clearwater to resurface a pool and I thought they did a terrific job. They cleaned up daily and were pleasant and willing to work within our timeframe. I would hire them again-no question-and recommend them to all our friends.
We bought a house with a pool that had been maintained by Clearwater Pools for 10+ years. Called in February to schedule the pool opening for end of May. When they hadn't shown up by late afternoon the day we were scheduled for, I called and the woman answering the phone said they were behind schedule so wouldn't be out until the next day, and she acted annoyed that I had called. Meanwhile, I had taken the day off of work so that I could be there on the scheduled day.Called back a few weeks later to ask for estimates on a few maintenance projects that were recommended from our initial pool inspection when we bought the house, and the same woman very curtly said that because we were new home owners, they wouldn't be keeping us as clients even though we had just paid nearly $600 a few weeks prior just to have them open the pool. Good riddance!
Horrible place to work mailed my w-2 to an old address when i was let go for asking for time off to move into my new place didn't think i moved or forgot that's why i was let go idk but if you have a pool built from here add another 6 to 9 months on what is told to you
I was referred to this business by Hayward for my pool heater warranty service. I would recommend shopping around. They came out to perform a service call, they said they diagnosed the problem and were ordering parts. 3 weeks later I heard nothing back. When I emailed them for status they told me i needed to replace the heater due to the size (which was sufficient and installed by my contractor). they said would cost 4000-5000 $$ which is outrageous. they failed to provide any evidence the heater was undersized so I shopped around. Another contractor came out,was very professional and explained the problem clearly. We decided to replace the heater and only cost $2800.
