After more than a year of trying to have an issue addressed (starting in November 2024), the work has finally been completed—but not resolved. Instead of fixing the problem, Skyview chose to credit our balance.The decline in service and quality is evident when you follow the pattern of recent reviews. Skyview came highly recommended, which is why we chose them, but based on our experience, we will never recommend them to anyone.
Expensive, the same product can be purchased at other pool stores for a lot less money. Make a call to the stores. If you have a saltwater pool get your salt at Walmart less than $9 a 44 lbs bag. Unfortunately the the male who did the water testing really did not know his stuff. He was not listening many times I said I had that product at home and he says oh right yeah you did say that. Then he repeats the same thing again. So then he says so you're not going to buy anything so this leaves me wondering they really trying to push the chemical product so are the sales people making a commission and that's why the chemicals are so much more money than the other stores. I have had my water tested many times and I find sometimes you get a really knowledgeable person who clearly understands the printout of the results and I would recommend the young lady she really understands and recommends. The chlorine crystal's can be bought for $75 at Canadian Tire and $99 at Pioneer pools, sjyviewp store charges $150. My personal opinion is that their price gouging you will notice that if you phone the other stores for a price check. Also my neighbour was having their pool closed ask me to supervise this closing while they were at work. The pool got closed however none of the closing chemical was put into the pool and the tarp was on the pool. When I asked them about it they said they forgot to put it in the pool.
We just moved in and have been running around trying to get things done and Skyview came in to close our pool today. They did a great job and now we dont have to worry about it anymore. We've never had a pool before and I'm glad we can call them when we need them and know that we're taken care of. It may be another day at the office for them but it meant the world to us. Great job!
