I bought a polaris 945 pool cleaner for around 1700$ on May 24 weekend of this year and as of today June 20th it doesnt power on. When I called the store I was told I have to go through the pool robot guy in scarbrough for warranty. Had I known this I would never have bought the robot from the store. Buyer beware if your gonna drop big money I would not expect to have to chase down some guy in scarbrough for warranty. I will say however my review is no reflection on the staff of the store as they are always pleasant but rather the store policies and procedures.
We just had our old liner replaced and we want to say thank you to Auston and Peyton for a job well done. They were both professional, hard working, polite and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure having them around here doing the work.
I have nothing but great things to say…The WHOLE team is wonderful. Super helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our hot tub is balanced perfectly. Great customer experience every time.
The man at the front checkout was no help finding products. When I couldn't find the skimmer they had in their flyer, I asked for his help and he just pointed at the shelf and said "that's what we have". When I asked for Polysheen Blue he replied "is that paint"?. When I described the product he told me they had a similar product called Super Clear, so I asked him to add it to my cart, as I was also buying pool salt. He oddly told me to chekout twice, and I waited in line twice. There are also no carts, so myself and other customers had to carry our salt bags from the inside of the store to our cars, and were given no help by staff, nor was any help offered. I purchased 8 bags...
I wanted to share my recent experience with the service team at International Pool & SPA, Oshawa. My pool pump died several days ago and the team was very helpful in selecting the right replacement pump. When connecting the new pump, I realized that the connectors provided with the pump where too small for the existing flexible pipe between the pump and the sand filter - probably the old pipe got bigger over time due to high pressure coming from the pump. I sent an email to the service team with pictures of the connectors and the pipe. Brent responded right away and recommended what to do. I replaced the piece of flex pipe and connected the pump to the pipe using the connector with the ABS to PVC transition glue that Brent recommended. The new pump works great! Thank you Brent and the service team for the excellent customer service!
