Black Pine Hot Tubs & Swim Spas in Tacoma, WA are a joke. I called them because my jets stopped working. They took down my information and gave me a date around two weeks out. I was looking at my bank account and saw that black pine hot tubs and swim spas took from my bank account $329.20. I called them on the phone and ask them why did you take $329.20. Nobody came out and fixed my hot tub yet. You return that money back to me. You'll get paid when the job is done. Billing said you are not getting your money back. We went round and round. So I waited for the service tech to come out to my home. When he showed up I told him just a minute I'll be right out. I met him outside and I heard the jets working. I asked him what did you do to get them working. He said that he just turned a knob on the top of the hot tub and they came on. I don't know anything about tubs or I would have done that. He wasn't even here 10 minutes. So I called and wanted to talk to the manager. The manager texted me saying was it a good time to call you. I saw the text days later. He has not reached out to me again. DON'T GO HERE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY TOO. DON'T GO HERE. THEY TOOK MY MONEY A WEEK BEFORE THEY EVEN KNEW WHAT THE SERVICE TECH DID TO MY HOT TUB. SO WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT?
We bought our hot tub at the Tacoma store about a year ago. Santi (the salesman there) was great about showing us several options in hot tubs, several options for financing, and never pressured us at all. We found exactly what we wanted, and everything from that moment on went super smoothly. A year later, I can still call if I have a question and talk about how to address it. With daily use for the last year, we haven't had any problems. If you're even thinking about a hot tub... go to Black Pine in Tacoma & see Santi.
I’m very pleased to report the great customer service I received today from Santi, with Black Pine Spas. We love and use our hot tub a lot. We purchased it new from Black Pine Five years ago. I had an issue come up today, and received help over the phone from Santi. He patiently gave me tips, step by step, to isolate the root cause of our situation and I was able to fix it on my own. The best part of this, was that I saved money on a future service call, and that he helped me on a Sunday. I appreciate the great customer service I consistently get from Black Pine and will remember that service, when I buy a new replacement hot tub from them in the future.Thank you Santi!!!-Doug
Updated Review from a 1 Star!! I bought a 6x6 Platinum Spa from Black Pine. The hot tub was paid for and delivered without issue. A problem occurred when, after having the electrician connect it, the inspection would not pass - the hot tub did not have the required UL plate to certify that it was legal for use in the state of Washington. This was an issue that Black Pine had never faced before and they were unsure how to handle it at first - I got worried because I had also never bought a hot tub before. After Black Pine worked with the manufacturer to deal with the issue, we agreed to replace the hot tub with a new one shipped from the manufacturer. There was an error delivering the replacement, and both Black Pine agreed to not only replace the hot tub, but upgrade it with a readily available 8x8 as well because of the length of time, stress, and issue with the matter. The electrical costs of the upgrade were covered for me and I now have a hot tub that I LOVE using daily. Many thanks to Suzanne for helping me to understand that this issue is highly uncommon in the hot tub distribution world and working so hard to rebuild my trust in Black Pine Spas through this error.

We ultimately chose the platinum Spas Oslo, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.The delivery team was friendly, careful, and attentive while placing the hot tub in the designated location, ensuring everything was done safely and without any damage.
